In this article, we will show you how to transfer large sacks of products from a wood pallet to a plastic pallet using a Dual Palletizer. This process is simple, yet efficient and will greatly benefit those who deal with large quantities of products on a daily basis.

Before we begin, it is essential to mention that the process doesn’t end here – there is an alternative solution available that can help you save time and increase productivity significantly. It is using Inverting Super Sacks with a DC Pallet Inverter, which we will discuss later in the article.

The Process: Transferring Product from Wood to Plastic Pallet

Step 1: Place the Wood Pallet on the Dual Palletizer

The first step is to place the wood pallet on the Dual Palletizer. Make sure to align it with the machine to ensure a smooth transition from the wood pallet to the plastic pallet.

Step 2: Load the Sack onto the Wood Pallet

Once the wood pallet is in place, it’s time to load the sack onto the pallet. Lift the sack and place it carefully onto the pallet, making sure it’s aligned correctly and centered.

Step 3: Remove the Wood Pallet

After the sack is in place, the wood pallet can be removed from the Dual Palletizer. This process is crucial, as it clears the way for the next pallet, allowing for maximum efficiency.

Step 4: Place the Plastic Pallet on the Dual Palletizer

Now it’s time to place the plastic pallet on the Dual Palletizer. Like before, make sure to align it with the machine to ensure a smooth transition.

Step 5: Transfer the Product from the Wood Pallet to the Plastic Pallet

Using the Dual Palletizer’s lifting system, the sack of product can now be transferred from the wood pallet to the plastic pallet. Once the transfer is complete, the Dual Palletizer can be lowered, and the plastic pallet with the product on it can be removed.

Alternative Solution: Using Inverting Super Sacks with a DC Pallet Inverter

While the above process is an efficient and straightforward solution, it does require the use of a Dual Palletizer, which can be expensive. This is where an alternative solution comes in – Inverting Super Sacks with a DC Pallet Inverter.

Using this method, the sack of product is loaded onto the DC Pallet Inverter, and the Invert-a-Bin is attached to the top of the sack. The Invert-a-Bin will invert the sack, allowing the product to be transferred onto the plastic pallet.

This method eliminates the need for a Dual Palletizer and can save both time and money. Additionally, the Inverting Super Sacks method can handle up to 2,000 pounds of product, making it ideal for larger quantities.

Conclusion

Whether using the Dual Palletizer or Inverting Super Sacks with a DC Pallet Inverter, transferring product from a wood pallet to a plastic pallet is a straightforward and essential process in many industries. Consider your needs and budget when deciding which method to use. Additionally, remember to follow all safety protocols when working with heavy machinery and equipment.
